Bert was my sister Jos husband and I knew him since I was 4 years old. He died from cancer in October 2007 leaving my sister, 2 daughters and a son behind, not to mention numerous grandchildren and friends. We think about you every single day and miss you so much, you and your wonderful sense of humour and wit will never be forgotten!
Hey Uncle Bert, sorry it's been a while uni work is starting to pile up lol but i'm getting there. May not have been on for a while but ur never far from my thoughts we all miss u soooo much.The kis are all growing up sooo fast. Tricky Nikki (Nicola) was 21 a couple of weeks ago! had a "wee" family get together at Gordons for her bet u were there laughing at us all :) U r missed by so many people uncle bert, i'd give anything for a chat with u. I hope you are doing okay up there. Im sure you will be with my Granny and Grandad to keep you company. I miss you especially when we have our family parties,thats when it hits home that you are gone. Ive ran the race for life for you twice now. Thinking of you the whole time. And i will do every year now. Watch out for us all from up there especially my Aunt Jo. Love you.

I Did it Uncle Bert!!!!
hey uncle bert, it's been a while since I was on so I thought I'd pop in and update u on whats going on. I got accepted for University so thats me officially going to be a childrens nurse!!! I know ur up there smiling down on me and that u would be proud. Well my baby girl starts school in August can u believe she is 5 already! The kids talk about u all the time and u are missed soooo much uncle bert. My dads having a hard time at the moment with his leg, he doesn't go out much but hopefully he'll be back at the golf soon. Aunt Jo was at my mums yesterday she looks good, she is going on holiday with Carol (her carer) to York soon I thin she is looking forward to that keep a wee eye on her down there for me. The rest of the clan are doin are ok but we'll never be the samewithout you you. Just Wanted to let you know I love you and miss u loads xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Bert, just thought I would leave a message to let you know how badly missed you are. Its your grandaughter Jemmas 18th birthday next week and we are all going to a barbeque at Gordons. Hope the weather holds, though rain never stopped the barbies in the past lol! You are still so missed at things like these Bert as you loved a party and get together. Things just arent the same anymore! Hope mum and dad are looking after you. Cant believe it will be 2 years come October since your passing. You are missed just as much now as then and will never be forgotten!

hiya sorry I've not been on for ages. Hope ur up there looking down on us all. Well Uncle Bert I finally apllied for uni!!! Gonna train as a childrens nurse! I can't wait. Had my 30th Birthday a few weeks ago it was good but our parties aren't the same without u!! My Aunt Jo has been in hospital a few times she is ok but she misses u like crazy!!! Keep looking after her uncle bert. The kids still talk about u every day and Tiegan would probably remind u af me. She loves singing and dancing haha. Do u remember the shows I used to put on for everyone at parties??? Well like mother like daughter eh! Darren is staying with me at the mo still eating for an army lol. I don't know where he puts it all. We all miss u uncle bert. Wee Ruairidh has just been thru an operation so take care of him as he recovers. Well I will go for now and I will leave u a message soon. Hi Bert! Another New Year almost upon us and you are sorely missed believe me. I will be thinking about you as the bells chime at midnight. Claire was right in one of her tributes, the family had a party for ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. No real excuse is ever needed. Thats when we all miss you the most though and the parties have never been the same since your passing. Love you and miss you! xxxxx
